Those in the know about neck shapes

I have:
-a 2003 Custom 24
-a 2008 Custom 24 10 top

The 2003 one has a beefier neck. The 2008 has a slimmer one.
Now - I really prefer the 2003 beefier one!

Now how would I go about finding out what the 2003's neck is? I want to know what neck it is exactly - I love it!
I might buy another similar one, and I really want to make sure that I'll get the right neck.

The 2003 seems to have Regular and Wide Thin as possibilities, whereas the 2008 only has a Regular one. Certainly the 2003 can't be "Wide Thin", if it's fatter right?
And that would mean they're both Regulars... but they are way different!

So how would you know what type of neck the my Custom 24 is?

Pull one of the pickups and there should be a modcat number which helps I’d the neck carve….it might also be on the case or the hang tag on newer ones…..use this to I’d what’s what

Thanks! Will do it when I get to changing strings next time. Lifting up a pickup should be easy, just undo the screws, right?

It will be interesting to see what you find on these. The wide fat could feel a little thicker because it is wider at the nut. That would be another way to tell if one has a wide fat. The wide fat has a 1 11/16 nut width, which is wider than what the regular neck carve has.
