Southern California Brush Fire

Took my dog for a walk up to the ridge yesterday where I took the original picture from Weds night. Takes about 10 minutes to get there. The firefighters did an awesome job! A 700 acre fire and not one structure damaged in the business park or in our neighborhood! They deliberately set a number of what they call "backfires" in order to make sure that the main fire had no fuel to work with when it came anywhere near any structures. My hats are off to these guys (and to the weather, which was cool and damp for the 3 days that the fire burned - never got above 70 F degrees (20 C or thereabouts)
