I've had my Silver Sky for two months and I love it. It's my 4th PRS but first with a tremolo bridge. The bridge works fine, but I feel like the arm itself is too straight. By comparison, the arm on my EJ Strat bends out at a greater angle, which provides more throw.

Is it possible to use some type of replacement arm (Fender or Callaham) in the bridge or will the threads on these arms damage the bushing on the PRS bridge?

Just bend the arm it came with. Seriously, I’ve done this on every trem equipped PRS I have ever owned. Just stick it in a vice and give it a yank.

If you lay trem arm over a pipe and gently tap the back side of the 90ish degree bend it will move quite easily. Don't tap too hard because it will move very easily.

You won't have vise marks on it and it will bend exactly where you want it to.

Like Sergio I've bent all of mine but that other thing he was talking about.............
