Hello all, I am restoring and 87 standard that is missing some parts.
But I have Questions,

I have a beater 1996 CE 22 with the wing tuners on it, will those tuners fit the stock holes in the headstock of the 1987?

Is it easy to pull the collars off the wing tuners to slide them back through the holes in the 87?

Would it be cool to put the CE 22 Dragon 1 pickups into the 1987 standard Mahagony body?

Can the Dragon 1's be wired with the Volume knob, Rotary knob and Sweet Switch on the 1987?

Trying to get the 87 back to stock but Finding T&B Pick-ups has been frustrating..

Thanks for any info,
Korinafan

Not sure about the wings on the tuners, but if they have the shared DG string screw they should line right up.

As to the Dragon 1’s question, I have a set in my ‘91 Standard with sweet switch and they are fantastic! They are the best pickups that I have had in that guitar.

Thought I read someplace the 85/15 pickups were a reimagined T + B pickups

I believe it was “the 85/15’s are what the T&B would have been had he known what he knows after all the years of pickup design”. Something to that effect
