I love the 513. I have owned literally everything else and it remains the king. - Had it for 18 years now but I never use the neck humbucker. In live performance one flip beats two plus all the fancy footwork im doing on the pedal board. Im looking forward to this mod simplifying the tone change process and getting me in and out of the solo one or two beats sooner.

Here is how the story ends. I bought a mint 509. I thought the mod on the 513 would be costly with shipping and shop charge at PRS and may negatively affect resale value so I took the path of least resistance. and hope to break even. I will be sad to sell my 513- it has a spectacular chevron top in Matteo Blue. If anyone is interested you can find it on Reverb. Thanks for all your suggestions.
