Alright so I had the guitar ordered from another province, and it was sitting in the store for around a year. So of course the fretboard was disgusting and dry (as you can see in the original post) and the strings were pretty much done.

Finally got around to cleaning the fretboard with a toothbrush, oiled it, and changed the strings. The guitar plays way better now!
