On a snowy day in Stevensville, the wood thieves got a hold of some good wood. Timmy, as usual, picked out a good top for me.
During NAMM we paid a visit to Wild West Guitars. After setting up a dozen or so PS guitars on the WWG VooDoo Lounge stage, I decided Apricot is about the coolest damn color under stage lights. So this guitar was destined to be a Dreamsicle, with Orange/Yellow on the outside and white on the 'inside'. Nice Brazzy board with plenty of figuring. The Mammoth Ivory inlays with Yellow Orange Spiney outlines keep with the Dreamsicle theme.
DC 245
Dickey Betts Thickness, same as an SC-58
More Brazzy stuff
While rummaging around the vault, I found a great sounding Honduran neck blank I fell in love with. It ended up being really stripey and it looks as good as it feels & sounds. The 24.5 scale, Honduran Neck, Brazilian FB, thick body, trem and 59/09's is a killer combination!!
