I’ve had a couple of older PRS SE’s before but not for a few years.
Ive been playing a Vintage V100 Les Paul copy for about a year, but I’ve been thinking about another PRS for a while now.
Ive never spent this much on a guitar before but when I saw this online I just couldn’t resist!
To say I’m impressed is an understatement, I’m actually blown away by this guitar. From the feel, to the look, and most importantly the tone, I love it.
My V100 ( which I don’t thing I’m going to keep) was a good guitar but being a Les Paul it was a very dense, sometimes muddy, tone.
The clarity and definition the the PRS gives is very different. It’s full but so articulate, and the coil taps bring a whole new sound to the table. I play a range of styles from metal to blues and this guitar seems to keep up with them all!
