NGD - DGT SE Goldtop (mod) with pics

Wanted to share some pics of my slightly modded DGT SE. The following has been done:

* PRS SE locking tuners
* Ivory (faux) tuner buttons from Germany
* PRS Core pickup rings w/ black screws
* Speed knobs (made in Japan) these are lighter in color like the DGT core model. Hard to capture the true color

I love the very dark Rosewood board. Plays like a dream after lowering the action. Best SE I've owned so far. Took awhile to receive from SW but was well worth the wait.

Everyone I've played has had a light fretboard or streaky. I may have bought one of them if it wasn't for the fretboard. One was even sorta chalky. It was really weird. I'd be weak to resist a deep fretboard like OPs. I'm a sucker for PRS boards.
