While you were partying I studied the guitar.

Early CE-24 guitars had either the 5-way rotary or a 3-way toggle. The 3-way toggle was not your typical switch; instead of a black or cream-colored plastic tip, it had an all-metal actuator. Does anybody know who made this switch and/or where I can get one?

I might have an extra somewhere. I'll take a look and if I find it you can have it. I think it was made by a company named "Arco" or something similar.

Here is the part name: Alco Switch MTG-226PA ON-ON-ON

At some point I wondered the same thing, I think to try to mod one of my CE24s to be just like Alex Lifeson's. I'm guessing that's the part my research turned up and I ended up getting on eBay several years ago.

Ha! Coincidentally, I was asking for exactly the same reason!
