Our Poppy had a basket with 27 - that's right, twenty seven - stuffed animals that we called her babies. She'd take them outside, carry them around and play with them like they were her pups. Brought them back inside, covered in leaves, dirt, and twigs, only to carry them around the house. It was stressful when we'd declare a "wash the babies" day...she'd stand in front of the dryer and wait for them to come out. Then she couldn't decide which one to play with first. The bad part was talking with the neighbors after cutting the yard and accidentally hitting one of the stuffed animals. The look of awe in their eyes when you casually state, "I had to pick up the remains from a dead baby in our back yard" reminded me that they may not get the reference.no more stuffed animal parties.
Your wife is much smarter than you, btw.
