I saw a couple of good threads on options for this guitar. I am getting a green used but seems like mostly unplayed 2013 green SE Santana.

I saw for a little while on the PRS site they were selling SE locking tuners ( but don't see them anymore maybe not available any longer maybe looking at wrong place ).

I am thinking locking tuners first then maybe PRS nut and we will see after that.

I see this on Sweetwater https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/SELockTunSet--prs-se-locking-tuners-set-of-six

Will these go directly easily into the santana SE ( I would think so )? Guess grover is another option.

Thanks John

John Mann can hook you up with the SE locking tuners.

I put a Tusq graphite nut on mine. Simple upgrade plenty of vids on YT showing how to do it. That with some big bends nut sauce (still makes me laugh sorry :D) no tuning problems at all :)

Thanks Tony yeah i will have to see how oem nut is. I have not had any problems so far with 2 other PRS guitars using factory one.

Years ago i asked my guitar teacher if he used nut sauce. His eyes bugged out a bit ...

Good idea. I gave the stock nut a good chance, not bad but changing certainly made a difference in tuning stability. I don’t believe in changing things for the sake of it.
