To a 3 way toggle with a push pull tone pot and get coil splits.

Normally to get coil splits you need four wires plus the ground. I have a 1996 CE 24 that has three wires and a ground.

I checked on YouTube and you get a PRS 6-way toggle switch but I prefer the three-way toggle switch and a push pull tone pot. If there's a way to do it can anyone send me a schematic with the functionality of the three-way toggle and push pull what each position will do or do you need a push pull volume and a push pull tone pot or do you recommend a 6-way toggle switch.

Went from this.....

That middle pic has the upc numbers on the pack that I used.

Here's the diagram PRS emailed me 20-something years ago when I converted my '98 Custom to three-way with tap. Will be the same for your '96 as long as it still has the original pickups.

I'm not the OP and am an old rotary hold out but that's awesome. Thanks for posting that!

Go to prs home page and look under support tab. All guitar wiring drawings are available. Just look for your guitar that has 3 way toggle.

Can't use McCarty drawing because those are 2 wire pickups yours will have 3 plus shield.

You'll have to flip magnet in your neck pickup or reverse polarity. The magnet is flipped to work with rotary and it will be out of phase if you don't correct it for toggle.

No need to flip a magnet. You can run reverse polarity fine. It's just a matter of connecting things correctly to keep them in phase.

Wire it like in the drawing I shared and all is good.
