to a 1996 pair of Dragon I pups with 3 leads and a ground so the 6 way selector has tje following functionality.

Pos 1 bridge humbuckers
Pos 2 both pups
Pos 3 neck humbuckers
Pos 4 north neck south bridge
Pos 5 South neck North bridge
Pos 6 South neck South bridge

(North South refers to the North South portion of the humbucker)

I asked this previously and got a wiring diagram but didn't get the functionality of the position switches which is what I need so I wire it correctly

Thanks

Yes. It can be a little tricky and time consuming, but the one guitar I had it wired on was an SE where I went from the push pull to the six way and it gives you literally six different kinds of sounds. Pick a good luthier who can wire well.

Legend, thank you. I like to work on my guitars and I actually have a better idea how to do my take on it. Once again, thx for answering

@SinSir You generally happy with the switch. Thinking to go Free-Way just to get read of push-pulls, just wondering how the switching in practice feels like

Extremely happy

I have them in several guitars, blades and toggles, with zero issues for years. Install is a breeze and If you have any custom configurations they'll work with you drawing you up a diagram. Freeway has become my default go to whenever doing work, figure why not have the options when it's no harder to use than say a switchcraft and been just as durable.

Great, thx for the feedback. I may go with it eventually, but I think I will go with a simpler solution once again. From the eight options I have right now, I only really using 4. I believe I found the solution that may work for me much better. I will share it in a couple of weeks in my Standard 24 mod thread. Poor guitar, I think I mod it a dozen times already

I have a couple that have been like that.. funny my SAS with the freeway was one of those. Dig the damn guitar but couldn't decide where to go with it. It's now absolutely perfect and for versatility alone would be the last to go even if I was playing on a milk crate on the corner.

Aww, my Standard 24 is almost as near to perfect as it gets. It's just has to many options. I've been thinking how to keep only the tonal options I like, minimalise the number of push pulls, and make the switching faster.

for example; now, to go from Bridge HB on drive I need to move the 3way toggle to the middle position, pull two push-pulls on V and T and do a pedalboard dance for straty in between tones. With a new layout, it's just one toggle move, eventually with pressing the push push if I want the neck Single only. These four options are the only options I use on both my STD and 24-08

I gonna put it on the schematic first, then CAD it and I should start the surgery soon
