I've been doing a lot of research lately for exactly the same thing.
I wanted a battery powered amp suitable for guitar and vocals. Bluetooth handy for playing music before, after and during breaks and also for use at home.
There are a few options but the one I chose was the Bose S1 Pro. I would never pay that sort of money on a new one but my local dealer had a used one in 'as new' condition at half price so I snapped it up.
Haven't had chance to try it out yet, but it seems to fit the bill. Battery life is excellent and sound dispertion is great for busking. Bose never quote power output in watts, but every review I've read say it will be suitable for what I want.
The EV Everse 8 also gets a lot of love.
But it's nearly 6 months since you posted, so you're probably up and running by now..!!
