Hello,
I'm new to the forum and looking to purchase my first PRS guitar. I mainly play African Jazz / Congolese Rumba / and Latin styles, using clean sound with reverb and delay.
Does anyone have an SE Standard/Custom or SE Mira or SE Zach Myers in their collection.
I would like to know the string height at the bridge for an action of about 1.5mm (1/16") or lower at the 12th fret.
From photos I've seen, it seems that the wrap-around bridge on the SE Mira/SE Zach Myers is much higher than the Tremolo on the SE Standard/Custom. It's important for me to have the strings as close to the body as possible as I tend to use the "Picado" technique for faster playing (as used in Flamenco guitar). I also rest my fingers on the guitar body below the strings when playing with a plectrum (not really a good technique - but I'm very comfortable with it).
I would greatly appreciate any measurements you could provide. Thank you in advance.
