Hi gang. I'm thinking of trying to upgrade the pickups (EMG Selects) in my Hohner TE Custom XII to sound more like a 22/12, including adding the middle pickup and coil tap and wiring things that make a 22/12 unique (6 voices!) PRS specs list 22/12's as having a Fralin single coil in the middle and two humbuckers specially voiced for 12-string. What the heck would they be? What's an available equivalent? Thanks, J

According to PRSh in a review/interview on the 22/12 from Guitarist magazine...
The new pickups are, "based on West Street (the location of Smith's original workshop in Annapolis) prototypes from 25 years ago, and John Ingram had a lot to do with the design. The output is about normal, but they're very clear," says Smith.
