    Favourite PRS performers/performances?

I started the thread wanting pictures, and described it as “looking cool”. As my original post stated, most of my previous associations with PRS were nu-metal groups and Nickleback - which aren’t cool to me, so I wanted to see what PRS artists other people liked. Using the word “cool” was...

Thanks for that! I had avoided PRS for so long (dumb on my part), that I hadn’t actually noticed these people. I had to do google search, but there’s definitely some cool looking people and guitars there.

Nope! I can’t actually picture anything. Tbh I went through most of life not knowing that other people could actually picture things in their mind! So I’m not that hard done by.

OP here again. I didn’t mean to cause some of the controversy that I seem to have started, so I’m going to go a bit further in explaining why pictures would be useful for me.... I have fairly rare disorder called “Aphantasia”, which means I have no don’t have a “minds eye” and can’t visualize...

It could happen, but I’m assuming that I’m just being ridiculous and trying to get over my own hang up. I had a Gretsch back in the early 2000s that I didn’t “get” at the time and sold for this very reason. A year later, it suddenly “clicked” how awesome looking and sounding that guitar was...

Actually, yes? Here’s the thing - I used to think telecasters weren’t cool, until I started to notice all sorts of cool people using them and looking cool with them. Then it “clicked” and I got it. Same thing with Gibson SGs - could only picture AC/DC. I could imagine that guitar outside...

True, but I figured if I get enough replies, I’ll probably see at least a couple that I agree with!

How could I forget? His guitar looks awesome too!

**Edit to my original post - I think my word choice previously confused some, offended others, and made people think I was trolling - none of which were my intent. I’m editing this original post to try to get back to the heart of what I wanted** I recently had a post about getting my first...

    NGD: CE 22.. help dating/info?

I haven't seen a lot of natural mahogany PRS guitars - I think their flame tops are a lot more popular / iconic, so I can understand why this guitar might have sat for a while. I think it's lovely, though!

Yeah, I was surprised! Also found it interesting, having looks at the specs, that the WF and WT are really only 2/32" (or 2mm in metric) different as their depth at the nut, and otherwise the measurements are the same. I haven't picked up a WF neck recently, but its amazing that 2mm would make...

Great idea. I contact them and learned that the guitar is original, not a parts guitar. While the change to dragon II pickups happened in 1998, this guitar was built in Jan 1998 and was ordered in 1997, so it was built to 1997 specs (hence the drag I pickups). The guitar has the wide-thin...

According to PRS Model history, they started production of CE22s in 1994. The switch to Dragon 2s was in 1998... it could just be that mine was built in early 1998, before the switch.

I picked up a used CE22 for what I think is a steal. It is my first PRS and I know I'm on the honey moon, but I can't get over how good this guitar feels - such a high quality instrument. Easily rivals my Fender Custom Shop... Anyway, the person who sold it said it was from '98. The serial...
