PRS SE pickup magnets?

I'll try and raise the pickup and see if that helps!

    PRS SE pickup magnets?

Has anyone replaced their SE HFS and VB pickup magnets? If so, what did you replace them with, and what was the result? I'm not getting as much output out of my bridge pickup, and I'd like to see if just a 5 dollar magnet would do the trick instead of buying a replacement altogether. Thanks!

It's in very good condition, I was just throwing ideas out there, I honestly don't know what I'm going to do with it. If by chance I ruin the veneer the maple cap looks like its good wood (from what I can see anyway) I sanded it with 120.

I tested some cherry stain on the face, because I want to warm up the guitar quite a bit, I don't want "red" but think heritage cherry sunburst without the burst. It had little effect, any ideas on how to warm it up?

Sorry, I didn't strip the pickup cavities so it won't show you anything, it's just solid color. I'd estimate the cap to be about 1/2 or so thick, probably more, at the center. Here's what I have so far:[/IMG][/IMG] got 90% of it with my orbital sander and some patience. Now it's...

    Refinishing an SE advice.

The spot that's messed up is between the bridge and pickup, I squared that part off and cut the veneer out. The rest just looks so good that I really don't want to cover it up or get rid of it all! So I'm debating on covering the 1/2 inch between the bridge and pickup with something, maybe faux...

It also looks like the veneer is in bad shape where that happened as of my latest strip attempt, it's starting to bubble.

I would, except where I used the heat gun the finish went all the way down to the veneer and chipped a small piece off, I think I want to sand the sealer off and give it a good oil rub.

Ok so I started with the heat gun in a small spot that's under the bridge and immediately stopped, it was too messy and the veneer seemed to react, so I applied the stripper, scraped, applied it again and the fade/topcoat is gone, just need to get that damned sealer off... Once I upload the...

Hopefully PRS didn't put similar stuff to what that Ibanez I refinished had, that was the worst stuff ever, it took a heat gun on max and a lot of patience, stripper just sat there. I'll try this stuff tomorrow, I hope this works out.

Toothace do you have pics of your Santana? I picked up this really heavy duty aircraft stripper from work today that I'm debating on trying this weekend, if I can work the nerve up.

I have a 2012 SE C24 in tobacco sunburst and I love everything about that guitar... Except the fade. I just don't dig it, and I'm not a fan of thick poly finishes, so I want to strip that poly off and either give it an oil finish or a nitro, but that's after I figure out how to strip his without...

PRS SE Custom 24 truss rod question

I would be severely upset if my SE24 did that, I particularly like the grain pattern mine has. Unfortunately I sanded the back of the neck down so that pretty much voids everything.
