the modern eagle family just got a little bigger yesterday. added a singlecut trem to the mix. just happened to also be in Charcoal like my doublecut.
only thing i'm curious about is it says my new ME is a 2012. i thought they were made from like 04-07 or so? it even has written on it "custom...
i was playing a 594 single cut the other day with 5909 in the bridge through a very dirty Archon amp and that thing was sounding HUGE. i'm definitely a more modern player than that suited my needs very nicely. it might not do ALL types of heavy music perfectly but it was by no means bad.
hey everyone. looking to see if i should be doing anything specific to keep my ME1's Brazilian rosewood neck in as good a "health" as possible. should i use any cleaners or wax's or anything on these necks?
any suggestions welcome! thanks
i actually picked up a modern eagle 1 used from brians guitars about 2 months ago. absolutely love it. i guess the guy trading it in bought one of the new super eagles (green). crazy. i ended up swapping the pickups to bare knuckle juggernauts(not shown). my only wish is that it had a trem.

think fancy modern eagle/mccarty.
not sure if trem or stoptail. maybe trem to compliment for 59/09 mcarty stoptail.
blue tortuga finish on quilt maple. 1 piece top if possible...
yeah and quattros seem to be much lower priced than 1's or 2's which i wont argue with! i just think that whatever PRS i get next, its gonna need an IR neck.
so i finally made my first trip out to brians guitars in hamden CT. i'm about 90 minutes away up in massachusetts. the store was great. brian was friendly and had a hell of a selection. i specifically wanted to go because i knew he had some lightly used Modern Eagle 1's. i've been drooling over...
