My new band is very much Skunk Anansie meets Fleetwood Mac. I'm starting to need piezo sounds. Have tried the pedal simulators & think real Piezois the way to go. Anyone have experience of modding one?

Cheers @vchizzle I'm not gonna try & force it. The previous owner definitely gigged it a lot as my first mod was a regret. So if it's meant to stay dark, so bet it.

I have a lovely 2000 PRS Custom 22 in Whale Blue, it's a 10 top. But I've always thought the colour was so dark, that you couldn't really see the flame. Azul seems a better colour. Does anyone have a Whale Blue PRS that has faded over time? if so what does it look like?

I had a really heavy McCarty gold top that was a Les Paul killer. So it's interesting to see them move to a guitar with a thicker back.

http://www.freewayswitch.com just had one of these fitted to my 2000 Custom 22. its been brilliant. Much quicker than a rotary control. as I use the 2 outer coils setting & the back humbucker the most. It's been a godsend to just flip up or down between them.

I used to use the Blackstar HT Dual. But it is a bit cheaply made regarding footswitches etc. now I use a Goosoniqueworx 7thvn. There a bit obscure but the hi gain is a meaty slab of tone & the low gain is a really warm dynamic drive. It's JFET & I run mine at 12v DC...
