What's your take on the Cor-Tek guitars MII?

    I suppose it could possibly be the plate, but there should only be the one standard size. Unless the screw holes were drilled out of place. Who knows! Here's a pic of the headstock, including the serial number, in case any one may be interested;

What's your take on the Cor-Tek guitars MII?

Thank you for seeing my point of view. I've heard nothing but great things about the models MIK. I've never owned one myself, but have played a couple in the store. They felt and looked great. Regardless of price, bad route cuts are just inexcusable. I have decided that I'm going to request a...

What's your take on the Cor-Tek guitars MII?

My gripe isn't with the SE line in general. I decided to purchase an SE guitar based off the excellent reviews, finish and sound of the MIK models. My issue is that the MII guitars dont seem to have the same quality standard, as I mentioned above. I don't think it's an unreasonable expectation...

What's your take on the Cor-Tek guitars MII?

Say what you will, but the fact remains I have read and/or witnessed many issues with the new line of SE guitars MII that aren't specific to the SE Standard models. If you're ok with bad routing and finish, then by all means go ahead and spend your hard earned cash as you see fit. That's your...

What's your take on the Cor-Tek guitars MII?

I'm really considering cancelling my order and hunting down a used SE MIK. These Indo models don't seem to be up to par.

What's your take on the Cor-Tek guitars MII?

I recently purchased a PRS SE Standard, Tobacco Sunburst, MII by Cor-Tek. The guitar promptly went back to the dealer. It had a very ugly wood selection, although I was told that's a taste thing. That's fine. The routing around the back plate on the other hand, well that's bad craftsmanship...

New member PRS guitar quality issues.

I recently purchased a PRS SE Standard made by Cor-Tek, and the finish left much to be desired. The back plate had some really bad routing. I have returned the guitar and I'm waiting on a replacement.

    Are the pickups the same?

    Ok thanks all!

    Are the pickups the same?

That's interesting. How could one explain the PRS soapbox pickups than? Would they not be in violation of the trademark?

    Are the pickups the same?

Any reason why one set of pickups are black and the other are zebras? Same internal components?

    Are the pickups the same?

I'm trying to find out if the pickups on the PRS SE 245 Standard and the PRS SE 245 are the same for the 2018 lineup. I tracked down the PRS spec sheet for the 2018 guitars, and both guitars had the same explanation for the pickups; "85/15 “S” treble and bass pickups". I'm not exactly sure what...

    Introduce yourself!

Hi all, new to the forums. I have been researching and watching videos of the PRS guitars for many months now, and I'm getting ready to make my first purchase soon. I have to admit, I was drawn in by the amazing work of Mark Tremonti, but I'm also a big fan of the Andertons youtube channel.
