Are the pickups the same?

I'm trying to find out if the pickups on the PRS SE 245 Standard and the PRS SE 245 are the same for the 2018 lineup.

I tracked down the PRS spec sheet for the 2018 guitars, and both guitars had the same explanation for the pickups; "85/15 “S” treble and bass pickups". I'm not exactly sure what the S stands for...

However, I noticed the SE 245 Standard pickups are all black, while the SE 245 has zebras.

Does anyone know if the pickups are in fact the same?

The S indicates that they are the SE version of the 85/15 Core pickup. I believe they should be the same in the two models you mentioned.

Aesthetics. PRS sometimes likes to have a solid color for the pups on certain models. Since Dimarzio owns the trademark for all-white/cream pickups, PRS goes all-black (like everyone else).

That's interesting. How could one explain the PRS soapbox pickups than? Would they not be in violation of the trademark?
