Try it now - not sure if it is because I'm new here or because my other post had an image link in it - but I noticed it said that the post was pending admin review before being publicly available. I don't see that message anymore, so check out This post over here
At the risk of having my fancy tickled, I posted a detailed set of questions with some history and a wiring diagram I worked up in the PTC - PRS Tech Center forum. This post over here
I am a newbie. I have already made several mods to my Paul's SE via a couple of techs. Here is some history that led to the unusual wiring diagram linked below.
New Pickups were added as a start.
The new neck PU is a P-90 so no splitting...what to do with the mini-toggle, I decided to do a phase...
I have a D'Angelico semi-hollow double-cut (es335 body style). The fretboard is flatter (larger radius) than my PRS. I really like the sound, great guitar.
They do have a specific look that is quite pretty. Some might think it is over the top, like poser-ey. I don't care, I like perty stuff. And it felt right in my hands before I bought it, unlike the other brands I tried, so win-win for me.
Hiya - just joined. I have a Paul's SE and have done some modding via a few techs. None of it worked out the way I wanted...so now I'm gonna try to do it myself!
