    Something harsh sounding about the lead pickup in my McCarty. It can can get kind of brittle sounding, especially with overdrive. I run in to a Mesa/Boogie MkIII combo w/EVM12L speaker. Maybe looking for a little bit warmer rounder tone. I've heard pretty good things about the 59/09's. I play...

    Replacement locking tuners for 90's McCarty Model without alterations

    Looking to replace the original kluson tuners for something a little more stable. I tune to Eb and run light gauge strings so I probably need locking tuners. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks

    Hello! New to the forum. Got a ?

    I've got a PRS McCarty model. The individual pole pieces for each string on both pickups were lowered down and are now even with the pickup covers. Should these be a certain height for optimal sound. Factory specs? Thanks
