The flu is running rampant in these parts at the moment.
So, I get a call to try and replace "Glen Frey" in an Eagles tribute band.
They were really, really good. I think I held my own.

A little heaven here on earth, playing the Eagles all night.
It really was an honour, I did the best I could.
Depending on how the dude feels tomorrow, maybe another night.

The only thing that could be better (nirvana), is playin' in a Beatles tribute band, from 62-66.

When I came out of the bar around 2am, I saw a homeless, mentally ill man who I have helped before.
He is 68 and looked really bad, but he is actually very intelligent, plays guitar and knows a lot about a lot of things.
Anywho, I spent about three hours with him, just talkin', no preachin', made sure I bought him something to eat (ok, it was McDonald's), but that's all there was. When I had to leave, gave him a hug and a few bucks. Hopefully, he will find some shelter, at least for the nite.

Big callout to Sergio. Saw your clip.
Awesome playin' bro. You and I are 180 degrees apart, but that was "chill."
me tryin' to be "hip" (lol).

I'd like to find an Eagles tribute band. Nice harmonies, easy cowboy chords with some nice licks thrown in.

And good that you helped out a fellow carbon unit!

First of all, you're a good guy! That was a great post!

Second, where is the Sergio clip? I want to see it! (And does he leave his clothes on this time? I'm not falling for that again! :p:p )
