My son Jamie's band released another single today after their first show last night in LA, and DIYMag did another review - with the headline "It's two for two as 2016's most exciting prospects unveil another smash hit." Here's the review copied from this site: http://diymag.com/2015/10/09/partybaby-return-get-acquainted-with-your-old-man.

The site has the song, and it's also a free download on iTunes and is on Spotify. Here's the quote from the review. You should be able to click the play button on the picture here and have it play the tune as well.

PARTYBABY are pure youthful exuberance. Earlier this year they dropped their debut single ‘Everything’s Alright’ out of the ether, an explosive bout of FIDLAR-tinged, snarling punk-rock with a tab of anthemia snuck in up its sleeve. Today, they’re back - two-for-two, PARTYBABY’s second strike is every bit as vital as their first. Stream ‘Your Old Man’ below, premiering first on DIY.
“Do you ever talk to your old man, and does he understand what we do on the weekend?” croons the masked stranger behind these instantly infectious odes to Generation Y. A bubbling, guitar-led waltz is Frankensteined onto an electrifying stop-start thrash - it barrels in hours late to the school prom before dragging everyone by the hair to the mind-bending afterparty.
Last night PARTYBABY played their debut show at an L.A. location announced hours before via Twitter. Today, they’re surprise-unleashing track two. No build up, no churn of hype, just a desire to connect as immediately as possible. That’s what marks PARTYBABY out as one of next year’s most exciting prospects.
‘Your Old Man’ can be found below, along with a list of PARTYBABY’s confirmed upcoming live dates. If you’re stateside, you’d be a fool to miss them.

Gee, I wanted to edit the above post, but the software won't let me. I didn't mean to quote the list of shows...and also the play button didn't copy over from the DIYmag website. So just click on the link and read the original review and you can listen there.

DIYmag is a British music online magazine.

Actually, I was proud of my kids before this, but it's sure nice that he's getting some respect, right?[/QUOTE]

Yes sir on that!

Bask in it Les.

Very cool Les. I hope this tour and single releases get them a lot of new fans so they can keep this thing going. I enjoy your posts on the progress of the band, thanks!

Thanks guys! I have my fingers and toes crossed! The NYC shows are things that should be fun for them and for the folks who see 'em, too.

Another great review of the first single here, "Partybaby threaten and thrill with debut track:"

I'm told the first show in NYC went really well - actually, I've seen a snippet of video taken by their manager, and it sounds great! They're headlining Saturday Night at Berlin in NYC, too; as with last night's show, it's part of the CMJ Music Marathon, a NYC music industry thing.

You bet I'm freakin' proud o' my boy!
