When pondering a custom order last year (not PRS) I was quoted an upcharge of $2k for a Brazilian neck. Good for my bank account that I had something else, very specific, in mind.

Not so good for my bank account....but totally awesome for my hands and ears!

I picked the lightest one myself. Luckily it also looked cool.

Then I picked the lightest top I could find. It weighed close to half what all the others weighed. Luckily it had some cool figure as well!

And his picking techniques are extraordinary.

Man, those CNC machines are so much more efficient than the old methods!

It ended up looking like this, and with the original artist series semi hollow construction method, it weighs just under 7 lbs and resonates like an mfer!
