PRS 513 - Dead low E string on one pickup

I wonder how that could happen? Just one pole becoming demagnetized?

I read about Andy Summers leaning his Telecaster against a powerful transformer on an electric train or subway and it demagnetizing the pickups in his Tele. He had to have them recharged or re magnetized.

But not just one pole piece. That transformer demagnetized both pickups in that guitar.

Thanks for updating us. I wonder how a pickup magnet gets demagnatised??
I had a problem a while back with my 513 neck pickup and ended up buying a new replacement from PTC Europe.
