P22 questions

Just purchased a 2012 P22 off Reverb. Now that I have the guitar in hand, I had a few questions about its build and components.
---It has a rosewood neck... what type of rosewood?
---The pickups say P22, are they the 53-10s or the 57-08s?
--'The bird inlays are outlined with inner inlay... what material are they made of?

Mine has a rosewood neck as well. It's Indian rosewood.
The year mostly dictates the pup. Mine is late 2012 and received 5708. Earlier versions were 5310.
I would email PRS with your SN to confirm pup and inlay.

Most likely Indian rosewood, based on the date those are probably 53/10 pickups. I think the inner material on the birds is a variety of corian.

If I'm incorrect on any of those points, I'll happily refund the nothing that you paid for that info!

If you have the sticker with a barocode and alphanumeric code on it, that's the MODCAT for the guitar and can be decoded for quite a bit of information. Others here know better where to look for decoding.
