Non-S2 Custom 24 Semi Hollow?

Not being extremely well-versed to the core series? I didn't realize they made non-S2 or private stock semihollow custom 24's. Was this a production run a couple of years back? This is the only one I've seen that is not wood-library or private stock. Not posting to discuss price, btw.

Bump to an old thread. I see a few of these pop up on Reverb here and there and I'm still intrigued.

Does anybody here have any thoughts or info on a custom 24 semi hollow core or even non-core? The little bit of info I'm able to find is pretty spotty and read somewhere the custom 22 was great but the custom 24 is not.

Just gotta wonder why they make semi hollows regularly for the custom 22's (or 22 fret guitars) but not for the 24's. I'd have to think they know what they're doing, or there is a reason for this right?

I just love the 24 frets – and I love semi hollows. But as they're not easy to find or come across I can't really just go play one to try out.

Call them up, they usually have lots of stuff that isn't on the website.

I have one and love it. From what I understand, they only made 200. It really plays and sounds great--just seems slightly "woody" compared to a solid body. Here it is in action.

They also did a Wood Library run of CU24 semis last year with a thicker back. They may still have something left.

Agree on calling them up. They should be able to give a good opinion on the tonal differences.
