I've wanted one of these for some time. Sometimes the buildup is so much that the actual thing can't possibly live up to the hype you've created in your mind.
This 305 has surpassed my expectations. I'm a country/country rock player and I usually wail on a Telecaster of some sort. I never realized how much those guitars make me work for my tone and each and every note.
Don't get me wrong... I still love my Tele but my 305 gives up the goods to me with less of a struggle. I decided to pull the trigger when I found out they were discontinued...
