These are both just nuts!

Per the rules, I did my best to crop out the stained neck.

Wild! What kind of wood is that? Quilted mahogany?

Not married!

But Brent made 2 sisters at that time. The second one I believe is a C24 from a different 1 piece koa body. Both have Braz necks.

I love koa! Have an acoustic and ukuleles made by a luthier on the Big Island that are terrific. Also plenty of wood bowls, etc.
I have a Koa GS Mini Taylor, and it rocks the house!

I had major gas for a Taylor Koa, but then I met a luthier on the big island - that changed in a hurry! Taylors are still great, but my fav acoustic is the PS Tony McManus in cocobolo - like a Steinway grand piano of acoustic guitars. In fact I sold 3 Taylors the day after I bought it from Paul at a clinic. You may have heard he's pretty good at selling a guitar or two...:)

Those minis are quite cool and addicting though!

It's amazing how your taste in guitar can change over the years, when I was younger I would of hated a naked guitar. Now I think some of the most beautiful guitars out there are bare wood.
