I own and love a Special 22 Semi-hollow. Does anyone know just how hollow they actually are? Peeking through the single f-hole reveals a hollow section along the full length of the top third (ie. the bass side) of the body. I assume there is solid body wood in the other two thirds of the top, ie the “center block” and treble side (minus the control cavity of course). Is that correct? I’ve never seen photos or videos of the construction of this reasonably rare model.
