Am new here - just discovered this forum. I have a Custom 24 Twenty Fifth anniversary model and for some reason my treble side 2nd string tuning key broke. They are the PHase II locking tuners. My question is - can anyone advise me if i can replace the tuners with the standard SE non-locking tuners without much modification? Right now i am broke and cant afford to by the original PhaseII ones. And i have a Custom 24 SE as well and i dont find anything wrong with the tuners - it stays in tune and i dont use the whammy much at all so locking tumers for me are a luxury i cant afford. Any thoughts? thanks!
