A number of years ago, I bought my first (and only, until recently) PRS guitar, a 2001 Single Cut 10 top. It was a wonderful guitar but to be candid, the purchase was triggered by the Gibson/PRS dispute of the day and speculation that value could get a nice boost. The boost never happened, but it was a lovely guitar nevertheless. A picture of it is below after it was autographed by an up-and-coming blues player of the day who's holding it. I kept it for a few years but sold it for no particular reason. I called her "Paulette."
Fast forward to yesterday. I had a nice EBMM Luke III but couldn't get comfy with the skinny neck. So I made a deal that brought me a Custom 22, coincidentally also a 2001 10 top. It too is pictured below. Looking forward to playing it out in a few weeks and spend some time on this forum.
