Or maybe he joined a wedding band?
DG PRS, DG Private function, DG using his Sunday guitar etc......
If he keeps it up, he just might make a career out of this guitar thing.
You laugh, but 20 years ago, I was at a festival to see the great bassist Michael Manring. He was accompanying a guitarist there. A buddy and I were going to give him some boots that we had of Michael Hedges, who'd died about six or seven months before that. Shortly after the exchange, we were chatting by the merch table, and a lovely young woman came up and said, "Hey - aren't you the guy who played with that other guy earlier?" Michael smiled and said he was. She said, "You were really good." Michael thanked her, and she said, "No, really. You should stick with it." Totally sincerely.
Late start, but yeah, I supposed it’s possible.
Hot damn! There's hope for me after all!
Well, maybe not in your case...
I dunno...my hopes usually morph into delusions of grandeur...but hey, that's me.Hope and talent are two things I have to pretend to possess...I guess I'm more of a fake it til ya make it kind of guy...meh, if it ain't brokle don't fix it.
Speaking of hope and delusions...since this thread started...I have been imagining Gilmour and PRSH secretly meeting on specs for the DG Signature...like the ones with JM for the last couple of years. Oh, and DG is demanding an SE AS WELL as both core and PS models...ya know, something for everyone. Hey! I told ya I was delusional...besides, a boy can dream, can't he??!!!
If Gilmour were to play a PRS, it would most likely be one of these
I can't find any more pictures, but it looks like it was for a charity event in 2009.
Maybe someone can try to find more pictures from that event for more info.
Way to slap me back to reality!
The question remains, “What is reality?”
Here, have a hit off this bong...
I'll stick with the mushroom!
OK, then please pass the mushrooms.
Maybe it's his Bill Lewis guitar?
They're on the way. I put them on a pizza so they wouldn't draw attention.
Good moning ya friggin hippies ...nothing like a good old wake-n-bake session to get the blood flowin...errum...uh...I mean, that's what I heard somebody say once...I dunno? I was really high when I heard it...allegedly
I’m too old to be a hippie, since I’m way past 30. Now I can’t trust myself.
Point taken, and for the record, I'm on the same Technicolor Magic Short Bus...
