What would be the perfect string gauge for a S2 Vela Vernon Red with floyd rose in drop C#? I'm going crazy and I can't fix it!!!!! HELP

Hi fellows! I'm going crazy. I can't find the right string gauge for my S2 Vela when I want to make a set up in drop C#.

Of course, I still wish I could use the floyd rose.

Would you have a suggestion?

Have you tried a light top/heavy bottom set of strings? Drop C# isn’t that low.
Something like a D’Addario EXL140 10-52 set should work with the Floyd with a proper setup.

I play a lot in open D (DADF#AD) and use .012 - 053 with a wound G string.

.010 - .052 for rock n roll ought to be just fine.

I have a Singlecut tuned to B Standard and use a D’Addario EJ22 .013 - 56 with a wound 3rd.

I use the heavy strings on my Tele. The action is set high and it's my slide guitar.

It's usually in open D (DADF#AD) or open G (DGDGBD).

Duncan Jerry Donahue Alnico 2 bridge pickup and Fralin Vintage Hot Strat neck pickup for a warm tone.

Gets a great sound!
