What glue is used to glue the fretboard of an SE Tremonti 2010 to the neck / is the board removable with the heat method?

I may have to remove the fretboard of a 2010 Tremonti to change the truss rod.

AFAIK the heat method (iron, etc.) only works when the manufacturer used yellow or white wood glue. Other glues may be less sensitive to heat. Hence the question.

I can confirm that it is probably some sort of titebond. The steam iron approach works. I reached half way the fretboard and ran out of time. When finished I will post pics and details.
