Finally saw the Doobies a few years ago for the first time - my buddy is a huge fan. I've seen them several times since, but I'd never had a chance to see them w/Michael McDonald. Then they announced the 50th Anniversary tour - and it came to a local venue I will not go to. Last year, they came to a place that I do like, and McDonald was still touring with them. Finally - Tommy Johnston, Patrick Simmons, and Michael McDonald all together. Until TJ dropped off for back surgery. So my hope is I'll get to see this album tour with all three. But I'm in on the new CD. They still sound great.
