Strap vs Strap

Now that my pair of battling McCarty Hollowbody Spruces, better known as White Spy and Black Spy (https://forums.prsguitars.com/threads/spy-vs-spy-ngd.49489/), are taking regular turns as my current favorite guitars, it seemed only fair to enhance their arsenals. Perfectly suitable Levy’s leather straps were acquired, and to add a little extra flair, I found them each a nice 1966 Dodge A100 van.

The accessorizing will, I’m sure, continue…

They are truly awesome instruments. I was kind of reluctant to try it at first, looking for a 594 HB II at the time, but once I did I discovered a whole new love for HB guitars in general, and the spruce-topped ones in particular. There’s just something about them.

Your killin' it! As for accessorizing, maybe take the black nobs off the black guitar and put them on the white guitar and get some white nobs for the black guitar!! Just a thought!!!

I too want a spruce jewel, but it is 3rd or 4th on the list of "next guitars"!
