I recently acquired a May 2006 SCT 10-Top. When I read Dave Burrluck's book on PRS electrics, he included very detailed singlecut production numbers just before the Gibby injunction became effective. (You'll find the detail on page 72 of Dave's book.)

Here's the production stats for Pre-July 2006 Singlcuts...

Total shipped prior to July '06: 5090, breaking down as follows...

1911 Singlecut Standards
371 Artist packages
1657 10-Tops
250 Singlcut Brazilian Rosewoods (219 as 10-Tops)

1035 Singlecut Trems: broken down as follows...
- 526 standard models
- 139 Artist packages
- 370 Ten Tops

Tremonti models:
635 Tremonti
100 Tremonti Tribals (limited run) of which half shipped before the injunction.

Dave's point was that it was a lot of fuss about few guitars. My curiosity is...how many more were made after? It was a long time before they started back up (they were busy with other models during the injunction)...and it didn't last long. Share any stories you might have about these guitars, too.

All that said, I do like a bit of intrigue, nostalgia, history centered around guitars I acquire. Mine seems to be one of maybe a few with a 'NO MOD' sticker inside...? Don't know...but...it's interesting! So, to commemorate the PRS victory over these "trivial lawyer matters" of which good prevails...:O...post up your Singlecut Trem 10-Tops!
