SE Stoptail Starla….I’m intrigued. Tell me about them.

I was doing my usual cruise through the inventory of the big Wisconsin shop and saw a few nice Starla SEs. The black with tortoise guard looked sharp. I watched Bryan Ewald’s demo and enjoyed the tones. Did the SE every come with a bigsby? I sorta like the idea of a Duesenberg/Gretsch sounding guitar.

I've owned one before..big ol' neck but very comfortable body as opposed to your usual singlecut....for the money at Daves how can you go wrong?? Also pups sounded pretty good clean and gain...cool guitar for sure...

If you can, save your money and spring for a USA made S2 or Core.
Here's mine
Very versatile guitar that can cover lots of sonic territory.
The stock pickups are awesome once you adjust the heights properly.
