Last week I saw this on ebay. CE24 with maple cap and alder body,

Then the same morning I saw this JH on Reverb...dirt cheap.

It was like the guitar gods had heard my fantasies. I couldn't resist. Both of them arrived today.

And presto-swapo...

And not only is it drop-dead gorgeous...the sound is crushing! Clear, bright, defined with tons of growl. I am pumped!! :rock:

I stay off Reverb, because I keep seeing awesome guitars I'd love to buy but completely don't need, and I have other financial obligations to manage. Like building a pub in my dining room. Or a soon-to-be 18-year-old going to college next year. And probably a new car in the next couple of years. Note the order of importance...

Dang, I gotta get me a new job with a raise!

Played it again this morning. Perfect. And yes I have a JH body on my hands now (and pickups..the JH's not the SD Full Shreds pictured). PM me if you're interested in one or the other...or both. There was no neck with the CE24
