Excellent excellent jazz fusion, tone, texture, soundscapes, dynamics.
On the bass Étienne M'Bappé who played with gloves on, outstanding bass, as good as I've ever heard live.
Gary husband also first rate on keys.
McLaughlin makes the amazingly fast and technically complex riffs sound natural and all the notes are purposeful. Interesting rig set up with wireless guitar and no visible amplifier. Must use midi and a preamp to the pa. A unique tone. any one know how is rig is setup? Looked to be on a cu24
A great evening. There is only so much, invasive, intensive jazz fusion I can listen to at one time, but these guys are top of the class and no one does that style better.
