Hi,

I'm thinking about getting a Tremonti in the bridge of my CU24. I'd like to keep the 5 way switching options as they are. I know the wire color would be the same, but is there anything else I need to do with the Tremonti to make it work with the 5 way? For instance, with Seymour Duncan pick ups, you need to flip the magnet to adjust for the polarity. I assume the Tremonti would be a drop in, like the 59/09 was (it came with a 57/08), but I just want to be sure. Thanks!

The Tremonti color coding is slightly different than other PRS pickups, but there is a wiring diagram included. You should be able to drop in with no problem. Never heard of flipping a magnet for polarity, usually if there is a phase issue between stock and replacement pickups all you need to do is switch the hot and ground wires.
