PRS Guitar cases on sale and accessories for July 4th sale. Just got my Silver Sky hard case

As there is some talk about PRS bolt on guitars not including a hard-shell case, this sale is something to consider. I just ordered my Silver Sky hard-shell case. The Fender one at Sweetwater looks the same for like $40 less but it does say Fender on the case. I'm not sure if its legal to put a PRS in a Fender case without the Fender police being notified.

I gave up after buying and having many of them shipped to me only to find out they were screwed up.

In what way did you have issues?

the neck cradle was in the wrong place leaving the neck only partially in it.

They are probably selling off the excess stock since they don't include the cases with the guitars as they should.

I received the case today. The guitar is a little snug but it fits just fine. The neck also appears to be resting as well.

I bought the case a couple years ago, used it a few times, sold it. It’s nice but it weighed 2x more than my guitar. I’d rather carry a slick 8lbs than a clumsy 25lbs.

Well it's not 25 pounds. It protects the guitar better over a gig bag that's for sure.
