I stumbled upon this today. Very interesting. Anyone else hear about it? I wondered for a moment if Paul might go the way of Leo Fender and move on to innovate other industries. Glad to see he's going to stick with guitar-making.

I'd have sworn I read that Leo got into yachting and worked in that industry. Or maybe I'm losing my mind.

The technology for synth guitars probably wasn't sufficient back then, and now the market probably isn't sufficient to justify it, but I'd still like to see a more accurate tracking based on waveforms (exclusively on waveforms?).
