I'll echo what others have said re: The Katana is a great amp, I use it everyday. I find the 50 watt is more than adequate, unless your ultimate goal is playing Arenas, you should have no trouble being heard with the 50. The only advantage the 100 has (I believe) is you can program in more presets (8 vs 4). Not enough of a gamechanger to make it worth it to me

The 100 also has an effects loop and works with the Boss official foot switch (GA-FC) altho the Airstep Kat works will all of them.

Yup, that’s why I chose the 100, The 100 is honestly waaaay more than I need, but the effects loop was what ultimately sealed the deal for me.

Totally - I never take it above the 50w setting in band settings, and 0.5w is frankly loud for my space at home.
