I saw Johnny, Black Oak Arkansas, and a third band who's name escapes me, as that concert was back around '74 or '74 at the Seattle Center Colosseum.
I have always liked Johnny's playing, and his brother Edgar too.

That is awesome! I tried the thumbpick many years ago and never got comfortable with it. It may be time to give it another try.
